10 Jan 2010 ROM – Rule Number 2: Choose the Right Ring
Choosing the right ring must not be an immediate affair. Me and wife took close to two months of looking around and soul searching to find the wedding band that suits us best! In the end, we have found the rings that we love and it is absolutely essential.
There are of course some criterias that we have set ourselves:
1) Budget- The wedding bands should be part of your expenses to holding the wedding event.
2) Style- We wanted something simple but yet different from what we usually see. Hence our rings are made up of white gold and rose gold which is something very different. It should also withstand the test of time and not be something that is just in fashion.
3) Functionality- We are going to wear the ring for life. So we need something very functional. For example, I am never going for my wedding band to have feminine diamonds on my ring that will jeopardize client’s impressions when I meet with them. My wife want a band which could match her diamond ring, and hence we opt for eternity ring.
So, good luck in finding your rings! Post questions below so that I can answer your queries!
Regards,
Daniel
