Bandung, Indonesia (21-23 August 2009) Part 2

Wow… my apologies for such a belated post. Here is part 2 of our Bandung trip back then in August!

Heres what we ate for dinner! The ambience of the restaurant is very soothing and calm, and the restaurant is situated in the outskirts of Bandung, amidst the hillside valleys. We need to travel for about an hour to reach there. It reminds me of Jewel Box in Fort Canning but more ulu.

The set dinner, from what I recalled, cost just close to $15 SGD.

Satisfied customers.

Joseph and Ben enjoying their meals!

The next morning, we gathered and travelled to the most astonishing venue in Bandung so far: Tangkuban Parahu or otherwise called Bandung Volcano.

The sight was simply breathtaking! The smell of sulphur as well…

There are also many roadside stalls, selling native products such as fabrics, potteries and wooden carvings to the tourists.

Roadside touters selling anything from strawberries to funny fur caps. Geo and Jialing very interested.

A very beautiful scenery taken from the mountain top. Lovely picture of my Dear and Jialing.

Volcano trekkers.

Ok thats it. Above are some of my photos of my memorable trip to Bandung. For those who are interested to know more, you can contact my email archholy83@hotmail.com. The next few posts would be great as I continue to post more about my life and some more travel insights (Went to Phuket for honeymoon)!

Love,

Daniel
